| WERK is an organisation that has among her membership professionals with key expertise in education and developmental research specifically in the areas of gender and empowerment. WERK members share a common ideal of promoting quality education in Kenya. Established in 1994, WERK has been actively undertaking research as well as advocating for improving the quality of education. WERK research goes hand in hand with advocacy campaigns and workshops as a way of influencing policy and sensitizing stakeholders as well as society in general. WERK provides a range of consultancy services in the areas of education and gender empowerment. It has a wide range of experience in conducting base line surveys, project evaluation, monitoring and evaluation, developing communication materials and organizing advocacy campaigns.
