Chuka Youth Information Centre (CYIC) is a voluntary community based organization (CBO) founded in 1998. The motivation to found this organization was out of the information gaps that existed in our community on health, education and social economic issues. The mandate of the organization was to seek for whatever relevant information that the community needed for enhanced development and livelihood.

CYIC has legendary capacity in educating, advocacy and awareness creation in the following areas;
•    Youth empowerment in increasing skills and abilities for positive enhancement
•    Provision of care services for orphans & vulnerable children (OVCs) and PLWAs
•    Promotion and mobilization of community in prevention and mitigation of HIV& AIDS
•    community development through provision of civic education
•    Enhancing environmental values, attitudes and congregating synergies for its protection
